How good is this kid going to be and how much PT does he see this year?

I have him holding 1 of 3 ml spots and could use the space for Shelby Miller. I like the kid and it doesn't seem like Mayberry is going to pan out like the sleeper he was being touted as and Pierre is just keeping LF warm.

He is a great young guy, already has a couple cups of coffee in the big leagues. He's struggled hitting for average in his times in the MLB, but he had a nice run at over .300 and with some good power and speed before dropping off. His OPS and BA against righties vs. lefties is about 200 pts higher/20 pts higher respectively in a career 98 games, and he has good 20/20 potential, with maybe more given some progression in his average/power development.

He is a great stash and should be owned in any keeper league. We just have to see how another year of seasoning treats him/what kind of injuries the Phillies hit before calling him up.

I'd much rather have Shelby Miller than this kid. ;-D

The Phillies seem to have trouble bringing along young players and Brown has been up and down a couple times already. Plus it isn't like he is killing it in the minors. His stock has dropped a lot from this time last year.

Completely agree. I think the Phillies really messed Brown up, I have zero expectations for him this year or really any year as long as he's still in Philly. A former #1 overall prospect that's 25 and still in the minor leagues is embarrassing. He needs to get a fresh start ala Cameron Maybin.
