I'd probably take the deal. While I'm not that big on Gallardo or Wainwright, I think you can fill in for Stanton and Gallardo should definitely beef up your rotation. Also, if Wainwright can get rolling, BIG IF, then he could be a real sleeper for the 2nd half of the season.

I think I'd pass there. That's a nice pair of pitchers, but your OF looks pretty slim past Kemp at that point. I might try to trade a lesser bat for more modest pitching help. The value's not terrible there mind you, I just don't like the deal.

I don't think your OF is deep enough to lose Stanton. Try turning something smaller, not every trade has to involve a superstar.

Thanks for all of the input but I think I have to pull the trigger on this trade. I now get to throw back Francisco Liriano instead of Trevor Cahill & you guys might be missing the value in the trade here. Giancarlo Stanton is already complaining about his knee injury bothering him throughout the season, he just got dropped in the batting order, & I am buying extremely low on Adam Wainwright who came in 2nd & 3rd in the Cy Young back to back years. If Carlos Quentin can hit 15-20hr which is not impossible even in that park then I am losing 5-10hr to gain a ton of potential pitching stats that Francisco Liriano & Trevor Cahill can't come close to.

Liriano is horrid, and you are right on Stanton. I would make the move.
