I am in a 12-team 6x6 H2H daily transaction keeper league that counts hold and OPS, and has individual OF positions. My team has been bitten by the injury bug and I have 3 hurt players with only 2 DL spots. One of those players is Jacoby Ellsbury, and I was looking to pick up Stubbs as a replacement for him at CF. I am thinking of dropping either Ryan Howard (who is taking up roster space with Storen and Ellsbury hurt) or Paul Goldschmidt (who seems to have been relegated to a platoon role with Lyle Overbay). Which would be the better choice? I am open to any other suggestions as well.
Thans for the help, and as always let me know if you need help with any of yours. Just be sure to leave a link!

Like I said in my original post, my league counts holds. If I drop Pestano, my only set-up guy, then I'm punting that category. I'm not willing to do that.

Good point, I missed that. Honestly though, depending on how easy it is to pickup a decent setup man, at this point in the season in a HTH I'm looking to up my team's value. I might try to run with no holds for a couple weeks and then try to trade JD Martinez or Drew with someone for an upgrade at the position.
Tough one, though. If you don't drop Pestano who are you thinking about dropping?
I think you are right with Howard or Goldschcimdt. I would drop Goldschmidt. Howard is too big of name that he won't get claimed right away and you might need the help at 1b. I am still a believer that Howard will be productive. He really isn't that old.

Goldschmidt or Howard. See my original post for the reasons.

Sorry for the repeated skimming issues. They should take a couple "bases" away. :(
Out of those two I'd drop Goldschmidt. Howard may miss all season, but if he does come back for the last couple months and looks like himself he could be a huge reason for winning in the playoffs. Also depending on keeper rules Howard could still be a good keeper for next year.
