Yes I would do that.
1) Jones is a potential keeper type and Beachy is not.
2) I have Jones ranked about 15 spots higher than Beachy in my rankings.
3) I tend to go for hitters as keepers above pitchers.
4) Both have started off the year well, but Jones has been putting up the 5-category hitting display many hoped he would when coming into the league.

It is a fine trade but I personally wouldn't do it. You really don't need another OF. BJ should be back this Friday and you have Crawford who is close to returning as well. I think you would be better off keeping the SP then getting another OF.

I think Jones would be replacing LaHair, Austin Jackson, or JD Martinez (whichever one you haven't dropped that cools off by the time Crawford is back) once your injured guys get back.

I would do it even though I am a Beachy fan. Jones is a keeper potential.

Definitely do it. Jones looks like he will flirt with 30/20 this year and you're going to be needing new keepers with a 3 year max on them. Beachy although solid, still isn't elite and I believe you can search the wire for viable replacements.
