Latos for Melky

Postby thatonekid343 » Thu Apr 19, 2012 3:45 pm

I get: Mat Latos
I give: Melky Cabrera

So does my pitching staff need an addition like Latos? Or stand pat with Melky at UTIL and switch him out every now and then for Cozart or Stubbs? Also B. McCarthy just got dropped, do I put my #9 waiver wire on him, and if I get him does it change what I should do with this trade?

12 team, H2H, 7×7 (QS, L, TB, OPS)
My team:
C. Buster Posey
1B. Albert Pujols
2B. Dan Uggla
3B. Evan Longoria
SS. Elvis Andrus
OF. Gianny Stanton, Jay Bruce, Desmond Jennings
UTIL. Melky Cabrera
BN. Zack Cozart, Drew Stubbs

P. Anibal Sanchez, Santiago Casilla
SP. Madison Bumgarner, Brandon Beachy
RP. Jason Motte, Huston Street
BN. Cory Luebke, Dan Hudson

Do it. That is a steal. Melky is not the player he was last year and Latos is solid SP with the ability to be a solid #2.

I would do it. Latos has much higher potential to help your team IMO.

I would do it for sure. McCarthy has been available in most of the leagues I have seen, if not SP like him.
