My team: C: Buster Posey 1B: Mike Napoli 2B: Robinson Cano 3B: Pablo Sandoval SS: Asdrubal Cabrera OF: Martin Prado OF: Yoenis Cespedes OF: Kendrys Morales Utl: Michael Bourn Bench: Ike davis
SP: Justin Verlander SP: Cliff Lee RP: Mariano Rivera RP: Chris Perez P: Matt Cain P: Colby Lewis P: Ubaldo JImenez Bench: Jair Jurrjens, Drew Pomeranz, Trevor Bauer, Clay Buchholz
Bauer will be up this season and will be a nice addition, just don't know if he's worth hanging onto that long. Pomeranz is a top prospect and had a good spring. Got lit up in his first start. Buchholz and Jurrjens have had past success but seem like they have no upside and they've stunk so far. Does Chase Headley deserve a spot on this team?
Should I pick up any of the following free agents... and if so, who should I drop??
Kyle Lohse Kyle Drabek Chase Headley Jhoulys Chacin Matt Harrison Ryan Volgelson Jeff Samardzija
Even in a 12-team league, I do not see anything wrong with dropping Jurjens and Buchholz--especially when a guy like Lohse is stil sitting out there after the start he'd had.
Headley is swinging the bat well, so he could be an option. If you want more pitching options, I'd turn towards Harrison (who is also off to a tremendous start) or maybe Samardzija...especially if he has another nice start today against the Marlins.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)
