Thinking of dropping
Aviles for Mustakas
Trumbo for Samardzija or Drabek
Good idea?

Why exactly do you have too many? Are we talking about roster balance or that you physically need to drop people because you exceed the actual roster limits? I ask because I wouldn't really be happy dropping any of those guys, aside from maybe Aviles, but even he has great positional flex as your bench fill-in guy.

Personally no.... There is no max or anything, I just feel I should have a variety on my bench when players don't play. That is why I like Aviles. His versatility is nice! I usually like to have more pitchers than hitters. That always seems to work better in my league. And I really like Moustakas, dont know why, but I liked him last year, and I can see him coming into his own. Power numbers wise.
Thanks Ya'll

Your team is pretty incredible. The only player I would be comfortably dropping is Gardner, since he isn't necessarily a full time starter (rarely plays against lefties). Aviles as well. But I don't think either one is worth Mustakas. Why don't you use your excess in talent and offer up a trade? There is surely a team with a solid 3B or two, with a weak outfield.

I'd drop Trumbo, as I see him having trouble getting consistent at bats all year. If this is daily lineup changes league, I also like keeping a util guy like Aviles. If it's daily roster changes I'd drop Trumbo for one of those pitchers and hold on Aviles for now.
If this is weekly lineup changes, you only need a util backup when there's an injury. Also this being a HTH league if you honestly think Moustakas has more potential for this year that might make it okay to drop Aviles for him, especially in this format.
