Trade Brandon Phillips? WHIR

This is a 10 team h2h league, with daily lineup changes. Another owner placed Sabathia on the block and said that he wanted a 2nd basemen (he has Ackley).

I'm not sure if Phililps would be enough, but does it make sense for my team? BTW, Espinosa, Altuve and Alives are all on the WW. I know my team may already be lacking a little in BA and SB's. But i'm a little worried about my SP's because of J Johnosn and Wainrwright.

I think that Philips/CC is a pretty fair swap. Then, with this being h2h I would emphasize power and pick up Espinosa. If you're uneasy with that see what he would take if you included Ackley into the mix.

If you ask for Ackley back I could see it being a good deal for you but in a 10 team league pitching depth is plentiful and Johnson and Wainwright could turn it up here soon.

Sounds like a straight up fair trade to me. I would do it based on who is avail. on the waiver wire. All 3 of those guys are legit, and with daily lineup changes you can adjust accordingly. Grab Espinosa and Aviles as he is getting multi eligibility and platoon them when one gos hot/cold.

Espinosa is notrious for his hot/cold streaks and you could plug in Aviles when hes going through a cold spell.

I had Phillips ranked just above CC in my rankings, but I think this is a good trade for you having Aaron hill and all.

I would offer Brandon Phillips for CC and Ackley. That would be a good deal for both teams imo.

agree with the above, if you can get cc and akley for phillips i'd pull the trigger. Even straight up it's an okay fair trade for both, but if you can get ackley pull the trigger fast.
