Alvarez and Jay are moving parts. Luebke and Zimmermann are very similar. LaHair is a possible fantasy diamond in the rough, who is also getting 1B eligibility soon (although not a big deal since you have Fielder at 1B).
I would like to do the deal then.

My main reason to do the deal would be to upgrade Luebke to the next tier with Zimmermann, considering the rest moving parts and LaHair icing on the cake. Is that fair to say or is Luebke better than Zimmermann? This guy hounded me for Beachy so this deal presents a potential discount. But I want to check with u guys first.
I'd rather give up Luebke than Beachy, so this is a better deal in that perspective.
Zimm could be better than Luebke, but Luebke's value is increase due to the home field. If one is better than the other, I guess it would be Zimmermann. But really, 2 moving parts and you're getting back solid contributors. I like it.

I agree that zimmerman is a tier above Luebke, but I don't think they are that far apart. Don't get me wrong I like Zimmerman better, but not by a lot. I am a huge fan of Alvarez he has the potential to be really good and you really don't need Lahair. I guess Alvarez would not be good enough to be a keeper anyways on your roster.
I like the deal a lot. Not so much for LaHair, but I think Zimmerman is a good upgrade over luebke. I like both of them but Zimm is a tad better with more ks.

No, I'd want LaHair. It's a bit of a speculative move, but I have a good feeling about him. Reimold is the hot-hand right now, but he's a career .260 hitter--it's not going to last. LaHair has raked in the minors, and has shown signs of offering the same package in the majors.
