He's not incredibly valuable, but in terms of corner infielders I'd put him on the same level as Freeman or Ike Davis.

I'd rather have him in that spot than someone like Adam Dunn. Maybe even Adam LaRoche. I know Adam is hotter now, but I like Gamel long-term.

Gamel could easily hit you 25+ HRs and it looks like he's also going to swipe some bags. He could be a very nice long term pick up. On the season I think I like him more than LaRoche. Which is sad because I dropped him for LaRoche in one league and someone else picked him up. :,-(
