Drop Brandon Belt for Nolan Reimold?

Should I drop Brandon Belt for Nolan Reimold? I am a huge Belt fan, but he is getting virtually no playing time, and it seems like Bochy hates him.

Belt has very good keeper value in my league though, since I drafted him in the 21st round. He would be a 19th round pick next year. FA pick ups in our league can be kept 2 rounds after the where they finish in the rankings at the end of the season. So they do not normally get good keeper value.

I'd say go ahead and drop him except for the keeper value thing. You seem to have enough bench spots that you can afford to be patient with him.

No doubt right now I say Reimold. Keeper part I am not too sure, but Reimold is the dude here...

id make that swap for now. Im sure you could possibly be cutting reimold in 2 weeks but ride the hot hand. belt's stock is so low because of the stop and start and playing time (yes I know he has been playing lately) that he should stick on the wire. Reimold wont for much longer

I'd add Reimold there, it's beginning to look like this is the year he 'gets it'. You can always keep an eye on Belt and add him back later. Plus you have Harper on your bench already, so it's not like you have no prospects.

Not a chance. Reimold is WW fodder. Maybe I am missing something with Reimold but he has never been that good and has very limited upside. Belt really just needs to start every day and can match the numbers Reimold will give you pretty easily.

I would. Reimold is hitting right now and leading off every day. It's a big deal if Belt can even start back to back games. I would make the switch.

I wouldn't keep waiting for a guy that hasn't put it together yet and isn't getting consistent playing time.

Keep him, at first I thought he woudln't get any playing time either, but with Huff's recent struggles I can see Belt playing 1B every day very soon. I'm a huge giants fan so I keep close attention to this kind of stuff. On the radio earlier today they were saying how Bochey kpt Huff in the line up last year over Belt because they knew Huff was going to be back next season so they wanted him to be ready. Now that Huff will be expiring and now that he is playing like shit, I wouldn't be surprised if Belt begins to get a lot more games in.
