I have a couple players that keep popping up in trade offers:

Joey Votto and Roy Halladay.

What are they each worth? If one owner asks for Votto is fair to ask for King Felix back in the deal or is that too much (other players would also be in the deal)

Votto is better than Felix. If youre dealing Votto you should want Verlander or Kershaw in return plus something else as a throw in

Felix is a good target, but you need to get upgrades elsewhere if you move Votto. I think King is top 5 SP, but Id also get a quality 2nd piece in the deal, maybe a Hosmer or Jennings valued player.

Value is always relative. That said, you might want to look at a couple top 100 lists and get a good sense of a place to start. Votto and Halladay are both top players, which is to that that they're both among the top 15 or so best fantasy (and real) players in the game. Generally speaking you shouldn't trade a player like that unless you're getting a similarly-ranked* player in return.

*can vary a LOT depending on league settings/personal valuation. Remember, value is always relative.

The reason I asked is because one owner has asked about Votto on 3 separate occasions.

He said Teixeira + Blank = Votto

So I naturally said King Felix and I would give him Henderson Alvarez or Neftali Feliz back.The two times I said Felix, he said I will get back to you and never did. I think since I said Felix he don't want to move him and he wants to somehow rip me off for Votto.
