Blockbuster deal WHIR

Postby Norsouh » Tue Apr 17, 2012 9:21 pm

Hey Guys,
I am entertaining a trade in which I ship Cespedes, Lester and Valverde away for Granderson and Bruce. My feeling is that pitching is overrated and that I will be able to get by, playing the wire. I think Grandy and Bruce would boost my already weak OF.

Thoughts?
Here is my team.
Miguel Montero, Ari C S
1B Joey Votto, Cin 1B
2B Howard Kendrick, LAA 2B, OF S
3B Brett Lawrie, Tor 3B
SS Troy Tulowitzki, Col SS
2B/SS Jose Altuve, Hou 2B
1B/3B Lucas Duda, NYM 1B, OF
OF Michael Bourn, Atl OF
OF Ichiro Suzuki, Sea OF S
OF Yoenis Cespedes, Oak OF S
OF Brennan Boesch, Det OF
UTIL Mat Gamel, Mil 3B, 1B
Bench Mike Trout, LAA OF !
CC Sabathia, NYY SP
Jon Lester, Bos SP
Jonathan Papelbon, Phi RP
Jose Valverde, Det RP
Sean Marshall, Cin RP
Kenley Jansen, LAD RP
Sergio Romo, SF RP
Bud Norris, Hou SP
Jaime Garcia, StL SP
Jered Weaver, LAA SP

It is a 12 team H2H league .

Thanks for the help.

Great deal.

Then I would use the free slot you're getting from the trade to use for streaming purposes. I'd also drop Jansen outright and use his slot for streaming purposes as well--he is not worth holding on to at all.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

Wow, love this deal. Take it now and be glad you did, you essentially get two studs for a Cuban and Lester.

That's a great trade if you can make it happen. In my league that would be heavily debated.

Help please

I agree, I love the deal for you.
