So I'm fed up.... How does this sound? Drop Carpenter, move Farnsworth to DL, pick up Moustakas, or Samardzija, and wait for Upton to get back on the field?
Is this smart? Im just scared of holding onto Carpenter for sooooooo long, but if it works out in the long run, I will bit the bullet and keep em....

The real question here is how are you doing so far?
I have both Carpenter and Crawford on my team with only one DL spot. But with a solid draft and some steals off teh WW...I am leading yahoo 12 team h2h league 17-2-1. In fact last week my pitching put up 69.1 innings, 4 saves, 73 k's, 3.38 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP...which swept the pitching categories on my way to a 10-0 record last week.
So I will be very content to hang on for now.
Now your scoring is much more complex with so many categories with different point values...but over all I really like your staff...so unless you are really hurting I would hang on a bit longer

Well Wilson is done for the year...so drop him. Even if this is a Keeper League...it is not worth wasting the spot when there is no certainty if he will be back before AS break last year...and even then...he may need time to get back to form.
I would also drop Farnsworth....I can't stand him...maybe emotional damage from his time with the Yanks...lol. I never really feel he can be relied upon for consistency...and if Rodney keeps pitching like he is...I am not sure they hand Farnsworth the closer role when he does come back.

If you only have one Dl spot you cannot wait for Farnsworth AND carpenter. The value is just not there vs a playing roster spot even if just depth for emergencies
And i would hold carpenter over farnsworth, potential reward is higher
