If he is on your DL and isn't taking any room then I would hang onto him.. He is supposed to close when he gets back, but I'm sure a lot of that depends on how well Rodney does, and how Farnsworth recovers. If you have Rodney, it's not a bad idea to hang onto Farnsworth just in case.. that's what I'm doing anyway.
Problem is I have Chris Carpenter, Kyle Farnsworth, and B.J. Upton (return soon) on DL. Also I lost BRIAN WILSON, so I am having some serious issues with injuries.......
Available players: Henry Rodriguez, Santiago Casilla
Those are the only ones that stick out. Literally both my RP's Wilson and Farnsworth gone. SUCKS! PLEASE HELP!
Since upton is returning soon I would definitely leave farnsworth on the DL.. that means you are going to ahve an extra DL spot open up, right?? who would you drop for casilla or rodriguez?
Why not wait until one free's up and then just keep him??? Unless it becomes over-bearing and you HAVE to drop him. But now, I dont see you having to because you have 1 or 2 about to come off anyway!!!
with your closer situation I think you need to cut carpenter and keep farnsworth on the DL. Upton will be back soon so the real question is keep Carpenter or Farnsworth on the DL, right? In that case I'd keep him as insurance since your closers went down.
I'm just not sure if I have the balls to drop Carpenter...... Does anyone know to any extent when this guy is coming back? I feel if I keep Carp he can come in the clutch in July?????
