On Yahoo, how many starts at a new position does a player need until he can be considered to start in a second position. I.e Daniel Murphy playing first and second

ESPN is 10, so I'd imagine about there. Hopefully that helps until someone who really knows chimes in.

Taken from the yahoo page.
"Batters need either 5 Games Started or 10 Games Played at a position to gain eligibility. Pitchers need 3 Starts to gain SP eligibility, 5 Relief Appearances to gain RP eligibility."
Under the Players Page there is a position eligibility tab. This gives you a countdown for eligibility at each position.
Daniel Bard currently needs one more start until we become eligible to be used as an SP.
Hope that helps.

That eligibility page referred to is a great tool, it also lets you sort by the countdown itself rather than search by player so you can see everyone who is getting close to add eligibility and act accordingly
