Who should I drop for Desmond (always whir)

Depends on your needs but I am not seeing a lot of value in Rios, Chris Davis or Duffy. And Trout is not likely to come up for awhile in the best case. i would send Rios to wire as he is completely worthless imo.

100% agree with this.

On another note. I have A. Cabrera and am thinking of moving him for an upgrade in my OF and using Desmond all year as my primary SS...but I'm hesitant on pulling the trigger in case Desmond doesn't keep a decent pace.

I would definitely drop Rios here and I agree I like Desmond a lot this year.

Not sure if Ian Desmond is worth a UTIL spot really and I would never play him over Andrus. But if you're set on picking him up, then one of Chris Davis, Daniel Murphy, Viciedo or Lorenzo Cain.

D. Viciedo OF, rios, trout or Cain. I would do trout, unless this is a keeper league.
I always like having a backup SS if you can.
