Just got offered in my 14 team H2h Cats. 3 keeper league.

I get: Lincy, Strasburg, Cruz, Lind

I Give: Adam Jones, Price, Romero

Fair trade? I'm slightly scared of Lincy and I think Romero can have a real nice year, what do you think?

You're selling high on Adam Jones and getting back an under-performing Nelson Cruz/Adam Lind. I'm fine with that.

I suppose the crux of this trade centers around the pitchers. It all depends on your opinion of Lincecum. Is this just a phase? Is he going to rebound? I don't see much of a problem giving up Romero and Price if I'm getting the REAL Tim Lincecum and Strasburg. But if Lincecum continues to falter, I'd rather have Romero/Price.

Ultimately it comes down to your personal opinion of him. I'd do some research. Listen to some ESPN podcasts. Read all you the opinions and numbers on Lincecum that you can. Educate yourself, because this is the kind of a deal that can swing a season.

and its the giving away of adam jones. the pitcher swaps are fine with me as all 4 are great and any combo of the 2 i would be happy with.


i love adam jones ability, he is a 5 tool player and will have a breakout year.
cruz can put up the same power number and rbi numbers as jones or even better but the big question is can he stay healthy?

Lind i dont even see where you can keep him on your team unless you have a spot open.

but if you do end up taking the trade its not going to hurt you a whole lot.

I like the deal. Strasburgh has been great so far and Lincecum will figure it out.

Jones and Cruz are close in my mind but I like Cruz more if he can stay healthy. Stras and Timmy compared to Price and Romero I again think its a toss up. And you get Lind which isnt huge but its enough for me to say I would take the deal.

I like the deal, you are getting a phenomenal pitcher(Stras) and are selling high on Adam Jones.
Even if Lincecum is only 70% thats still better than most pitchers in the league. Cruz has a good chance to finish right around where Jones will.

Def. some risk in this trade, but I say the reward is worth it.
