Kuroda free is instant pick. Guy looked good his last time out, and has the obvious Yankee power hitting behind him. Go get! If you for some reason dislike Kuroda, Cahill is another easy pick. Besides him, I'd keep an eye on Niese and Drabek. Both started good. Drabek has had great stuff for years, but lacked control. That looked a lot better so far this year. Niese has the league advantage, with Drabek being in the AL East, but Drabek has the far better line-up to get him some run support. So: Kuroda, Cahill, Drabek, Niese. In that order. edit: oops, missed Lilly. Still would pick Kuroda over him, however Lilly/Cahill is a cointoss for me. Lilly before Drabek or Niese, though.

I like Kuroda, Lilly, Niese most, in that order. I don't know that any of them are the kind of guy that you pick up and stick with. If that sort of pitching is consistently available on the waiver wire, I'd just stream one of your SP spots.

Kuroda, Lilly then Cahill.
Kuroda just gets so much run support that always helps yo. NYY have a solid (but old) bullpen. I really like Cahill though, I think hes going to have a great year.
Help please!

Thanks guys. I ask myself do I consider to drop Brandon McCarthy (Oak - SP) or/and Colby Lewis (Tex - SP) for them? H2H "Each"- Mixed, 12 teams, Daily Cats: CG, SHO, W, K, ER, ERA, WHIP, K/BB, ER

McCarthy, no. Lewis, maybe. Personally, I prefer Niese out of all those previous options, but I seem to be alone in that--which I'm fine with.

McCarthy looks like the drop. Since the OAK situation really isn't going to help him much this year. For sure I like SPs out of the NL West would be first choice. Am also looking for SP with at least 7.5 K/9, GB% 45% or better, low BB/9, low H/9, low OBP. Even though no CG or SHO are expected as McCarthy is capable, looks like Lilly fits the bill? He also has the lowest expected ERA and WHIP with modest 150Ks and 9-10 wins .
