The guy is absolutely on fire right now, hitting .435 through his first 11 games with a 1.143 OPS. Hopefully he gets a shot soon, but with a crowded outfield he'll stay in the minors longer than he should. What is your ETA on him? And what is his value in a keeper? I just gave up Crawford for him, since I can afford to wait on him.
Well his keeper value is gargantuan. Not sure he will be all that this year. Best case scenario for Trout owners would be that he gets called up mid-may and you trade him immediately while his value is through the roof.
Theres kind of alot that needs to happen though. A-someone needs to get traded(fingers crossed abreu goes bye bye) B- Vernon wells really really really needs to struggle. C- Hunter gets hurt.
I would like to think 2 out of 3 need to happen.
Oh and don't forget he is playing in the Pacific Coast League

Harper, easily. There isn't much standing in his way at the MLB level, so his performance (and Super 2 status) will determine when he gets called up. He can set his own timetable, pretty much. For Trout to see any significant PT this year, like the previous poster said, one of the Angel's regular OF needs to be traded, hurt, or REALLY bad over a long period of time.

I'm not so sure about that. I think the Angels' team performance will be a key factor for Trout (assuming he keeps hitting). If the Angels fall too far behind Texas, they'll have to do something, even if it means eating a contract. They didn't pay Albert and CJ that much money to be out of the pennant race in June. Not saying that's going to happen, but if they're still floundering at the end of May, we may see Trout then.
I'm rostering this guy. Maybe i'm just prospect-minded, but the dude is mashing at AAA - he's got nothing more to prove there. Yes, i'm aware that there's no spot for him at the majors yet, but they can't keep him down forever.
I live in Salt Lake City a few blocks from where the BEES play and i gotta say at $8 a ticket the Mike Trout SHow has been a steal. I am going to see what he can do tonight. He is so damn fast it is unreal. 3 triples and four stolen bases and scored on a single from first the other day. Not sure when they will bring him up but in my opinion sticking with someone who is stinking up your out field just because you paid him a lot of money is not how games are won. Go with the hot hand and send that guy to AAA to get his swing back!
Streamers Yesterday > NONE (used all of weeks moves shuffling batting) Today > NONE Tomorrow > Duane Below Vs KC *Worley (> My guy ) (* Wanted but taken)

You're preaching to the choir, Mikal. For whatever reason, it doesn't work that way, so we'll continue to see Wells and Abreu getting significant playing time.
