i just found this forum, so i want to say hey to you guys, and am eager to use it to my advantage.
i was just given a trade proposal, and at first glance i do not think i like it.
he gets Dustin Pedroia, and Michael Young i get Dustin Ackley, Asdrubal Cabrera, Ian Kennedy, and Adam Wainwright
since im new to the forum, i cant post my current roster, so i will put it in the post.
C Wilson Ramos 1B Albert Pujols 2B Dustin Pedroia 3B Michael Young SS Jose Reyes OF Howard Kendrick OF Nick Swisher OF Josh Hamilton UTIL Josh Willingham Bench Dexter Fowler Bench Mark Reynolds Bench Nick Markakis Bench Cameron Maybin DL Carl Crawford P Matt Moore P Madison Bumgarner P Josh Johnson P Brian Wilson (going to drop once his surgery is confirmed) P Rafael Betancourt P Brandon Beachy P Huston Street P Chad Billingsley P Bud Norris
i know my pitching staff needs some work, but those are 2 of my better hitters in a lineup that def has its holes. TIA for the advice.

that's not a bad trade, is your league a keeper league? Kennedy and Wainwright are two great pitchers and Ackley is a decent replacement at 2b. Not sure what you'd do about 3b.

its non-keeper, H2H, 10X10 league.
the next available 3B in my league are:
Ryan Roberts Mike Moustakas Chase Headley Mat Gamel Chipper Jones
I wouldn't do it. If you want to trade Pedoria for a pitcher you should go after a stud like Kershaw. I don't think Kennedy will come close to repeating last years numbers, and Wainwright scares me with this being his first year back post TJ. Your pitching should improve itself once Moore and Johnson start posting results they are capable of.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!
Eh...honestly, I'd rather have Pedroia, and Young is always vastly underrated in fantasy circles.
Your pitching actually doesn't need help at all. It's up to you. If you could get back a useful OF instead of Cabrera I might do it. But I'm not jumping up and down impatiently to accept this deal.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

i agree with both of you, and thanks for the advice. i just like to have more than one opinion, just to make sure im not missing something. my first reaction is to always decline trade offers, since they're usually self-serving to the offeror.
