I've been burned so many times on Davis the past few years there is no way I go back to that well again. Where's Maris to weigh in on Davis? He's got some strong feelings on how Davis will never pan out - basically due to the high K% a previous poster already called out.

Anything is possible, but Davis will likely be his usual k-machine when all is said and done imo. There is no reason to assume this guy has seen the light, gotten an infusion of discipline and is going to cut down on the ks over the course of a season. He is a poor man's Mark Reynolds.
Chris Davis is included in this weeks Wide World of Waivers. If you read the article you also know he was in post-hype sleepers written about a month ago. Both articles were written by fantasy genius R.J. White.
I know we have all been burned by him before, but if you have not already, take a look at R.J.'s articles, they are quite insightful.
I mean if Jose Bautista can happen anything can happen. I just swooped in on him.

If anything, I'd pick him up as trade bait hoping someone else feels he'll hold long-term value. I'll eat my words if he turns into the next Jose Bautista, but I don't see it happening.

Until something happens that says he's not worth adding, I'm quite happy with the production he's giving me.
