I'd take Votto only if you can get an acceptable 3b back. You essentially shift your extreme weakness at 1B to 3B and take an OF downgrade. As it stands, at least Alonso has upside to be valuable at 1B, especially given this year's 1B crop in NL only. I have Ike and Helton in my one, could be worse.
