Weird question I know, but I was looking at my league which is a head to head, POINTS, KEEPER league. We keep 7 every year. When looking at my points and the 2011 results it shows that hitters are much more valuable in this league then pitchers are. Below are 2 screen shots I took of my league of the top hitters and pitchers last year with the fantasy points they earned.
*COPY AND PASTE EACH ONE INTO YOUR USER BAR AND LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HITTERS AND PITCHERS.
So my question to you is. Would it be a good idea to trade my pitchers such as Kershaw and Greinke for maybe hitters like Prince Fielder and Justin Upton? Would it be wise for me to keep 7 elite batters at the end of the year instead of 4 batters and 3 pitchers or 3 batters and 4 pitchers like most of the teams in the league do?

I'm not saying I can get that trade, I'm just asking if I should trade my top pitchers and try and get to hitters...for example...trade kershaw for braun? trade kershaw for tulo or cargo, trade greinke for someone like Josh Hamiltons talent level..
I can't believe that a league would value pitchers so much that it would be worth it to trade all your best. Maybe deal one for an upgrade, but not both.
i dont think you guys are understand my question. In this league hitters are more valuable then pitching not the other way around, and no one is talkin about trading 2 for 1. I'm thinking about just stacking my hitting and have a mediocre pitching staff
having guys like Ellsbury, Cano, Fielder, Wright, Stanton, Upton is probably better then having a mix of Ellsbury, Cano, Wright, Stanton, Greinke, Kershaw in this league at least, just curious if people agree.
I think you should try working some trades for sure. My feeling is top batters tend to be more consistent year to year than pitchers. I also think it is easier to get some great value picks for pitchers, whether it's draft or auction. So if a pitcher has proven consistency, keep him. Otherwise, yeah, I'd definitely see what you can get for them.
