I have a team that is interested in McCann and Morales. He has Johnson, Motte, League, Gallardo, Ramirez, Beachy, Weeks, and Crawford listed as available with the rest as "untouchable". I can give up R and SB. I need HR, RBI, W, ERA, and WHIP. I was thinking McCann for Gallardo straight up. Value favors him a bit on that, I think. I'd love to have Cespedes since I'm an A's fan but might not be a good choice. Could try McCann/Morales for Gallardo/Ramirez. Crawford might be a high risk/reward target. What would you offer or would you try trading with another team that has catcher needs instead?

If you need HR/RBI it doesn't make sense to move McCann. You really do need the pitching though. What about Mauer for Beachy?

Agreed, but gaining in pitching stats helps me out more than what I'd losing in batting stats. That's why I was thinking of adding Morales into the mix since Ramirez would give me some of the batting stats back. He didn't list Mauer as someone he was interested in. This manager does make gambles, so it doesn't hurt to through things out there though. Also, I don't think Beachy is enough of an upgrade over what I have. I think I'd rather shop McCann or Mauer to someone else if Beachy is the best target here.

I doubt the other owner would go for McCann/Gallardo.

I do like the previous poster's suggestion of Mauer for Beachy though. That would let you keep McCann who I love as a fantasy C, and Beachy is a solid pitcher who doesn't cost as much as others SP.

That's game changing speed in Dee Gordon rotting on your bench. Maybe Dee for Beachy if he isn't biting on a catcher? Or Dee + Scherzer for Bumgarner?
