i got room to pick up one more damn Garland was just snabbed, its down to these guys :

W Alavrez, Lackey, J Jennings, Ainsworth, Kinney

any other guys/sleeper starters im missing, i would feel alot better w 1 more nice starter specially w Schmidt down

I guess I would try Alvarez first and just stream pitchers in and out until you get the right one.

It looks like Alvarez will being seeing time at middle relief. I would say Lackey, but he's gotten beaten up pretty bad in Spring training. I myself just picked up Jennings today (I traded Lackey a week back in a package deal for Pedro), but I'm not confident in that enough to give a solid recommendation.

I would say it would be between Jennings and Ainsworth, but I'd be interested in hearing what others have to say

One other possibility...Lohse in Minnesota, if he is available. When looking at starters, look at the division they play in (with the unbalanced schedule). Minnesota has extra games against Cleveland and Detroit. Lackey will be facing Texas, Oakland, Seattle extra times.
