That was the most entertaining 9th inning so far this year. Gordon looked like a Disney holiday movie ending with the Jackie Robinson story in the background. He's a big boy now.
Triple play was one of those rare moments when something rare is done in a rare way. And I was quite confused at what was going on when it was happening live.
Team Izzy C Mauer 1 E5 2 Cano 3 ARam S Rollins CI LaRoche MI Altuve O Melky, Pagan, Morse, Hunter, Ruggiano SP Lee, Fister, Estrada, McCarthy, Lohse RP Chapman, Jansen, Frieri, Fujikawa Bench 1 Hart S Cabrera O Eaton U Ortiz P Marcum P Miller P Fernandez
Ya Gordon did look really happy throwing his helmet. However that triple play was just awful. The umpire made a bad call by calling it foul, but he only compounded it by switching and saying he didn't. That's got to be on the not top 10.

Still Halladay until he shows otherwise. People have been making flimsy arguments for years that he isn't (Greinke and Lincecum in 2009, Ubaldo in 2010, Kershaw and Verlander in 2011), but there's only one constant through all the years: Halladay's greatness.

Luckily I have both haha. But I do agree with you. However I don't think there is even a question as to who is the better keeper.
lol @ using keeper leagues as an argument for Kershaw being a better pitcher than Halladay currently. Might as well bring up their career home runs hit
Oh yeah, better keeper is certainly Kershaw. He's 11 years younger. I expect Halladay to be good for quite a bit longer, of course, but at some point, his stuff will decline and he'll have to rely more on his exceptional command to get outs. It happens to everyone as they enter their mid-to-late 30s unless they go the Clemens route. He'll still be effective when that happens, but perhaps not on that upper tier anymore.
Still, for now, the best pitcher in baseball is Roy Halladay.
I sat Trumbo five minutes before the game for Gardner. I was thinking Nova is good at home and the Angels are tossing out a reworked Pookah Shells, so this is gonna be a slaughter for the Yanks.
You gotta lotta worka for you Brett to make me look smart.

I said in my first part that I agreed with what he said, and I do agree Halladay is the best in baseball right now. Just making a point for people who might be playing in keeper leagues or looking to make deals.
