One thing that is confusing about playing in points league is that I have to ignore most of the current rankings available online because a lot of them are based on H2H or roto leagues. For instance, even though guys like Desmond Jennings and Rickie Weeks, who bat first in the line up, are ranked higher than guys like Boesch, who is batting second for Detroit, I feel that in points league, Boesch may be more valuable because he will drive more RBI's and long hits, which are more likely to add up to more points than singles, steals, and good batting average (the last has no value in my league).
While I have this feeling, this is my first year playing fantasy baseball, so I wanted to know what you guys thought before making this move.
Also JD Martinez is available.
I really appreciate any help! Thanks!
