I think Wainwright is a great pitcher, and because of his slow start, I would like to grab him for cheap. The question is, how cheap do you think I can get him? I'm willing to do a package deal, so could you please also highlight any holes you think I should focus on filling? My whole league is from StL, so there is some bias.

Ask the other owner about his availability first. Then get him to offer first. If you're all from STL though .... good luck. I agree with you about him being a great pitcher, but feel like things won't be 100% with him until next season. If that's your guy and you're just playing for fun .. go acquire him. If you want to win, I wouldn't bother.

I have Wainwright in one non-keeper. On the cusp of releasing him as it is a shallow league and options like Harrison are still around. I do not think I would deal for the guy at this point given your team. There is not a lot you can offer that the other guy is likely to accept that would not hurt your team imo.
