Big Papi with exactly half my offense through the early games
Glad that abortion clinic of defense didn't cost my Marcum any more than 1 ER

Wait, how in the hell does a play with like three fielding errors result in both runs being earned runs?

cause without the errors it would have been 1st and 3rd, the Fransisco 2b would have scored both of them anyways, the errors didnt make any difference

Pretty sure the first run would have scored (would have been on third...probably...without the error) and the base hit is a single 99.9% of the time, which makes the double on the next play not a sure thing, as far as driving in the run is concerned. So basically, instead of runners on first and second, or first and third, it was one runner on third. I didn't know that being advanced from first to third on two errors counted as an earned run on a double, otherwise why are runners on first held to third on ground rule doubles?

Woohoo good news for us Kipnis owners without a replacement, fight in the 3rd inning got Hannahan ejected meaning Kipnis comes in at 2nd and Duncan moves over to 3rd.
although, that could also be bad news if he continues his 2/23 slump

lol nice, hopefully he can at least pick me up another SB. Otherwise, I was enjoying a .375 batting day so far.
