Thoughts on moving SP for a Bat? Glad to WHIR

12-team auction keeper, H2H(Hits/Runs/HR/RBI/SB/OPS/QS/K's/ERA/WHIP/Saves/K:BB)

Looking at projected stats, which doesn't mean much, I'm looking at a few hundred K's and about 40 QS above the next best team. A lot of risky guys, but I feel like I need to downgrade my pitching a bit here to sure up my bats. Thoughts?

In a 12-team league with 1 UTIL player (fairly shallow) this offense is pretty solid. I wouldn't say it's the best offense I've ever seen, but it's workable with 12 teams. I definitely would agree that you need to trade some pitching for offense, but not because the pitching is too good, but because the offense is a little bit weak in my opinion. SP is extremely deep in fantasy (especially this year) and there will definitely be some guys that you can pick up later off the FA that will give you quality numbers in matchup situations. I would try to trade Beckett and Lohse (if he has another few nice starts) to go fill one of your weak positions, which I consider to be MI and OF. Stanton is decent, but after that your OF is extremely shallow and doesn't have any true quality players in my opinion. I think this is your most glaring weakness, even though MI comes in a pretty close second as Furcal is just really not that great. I would first check if guys like Zack Cozart or Ian Desmond are available in your league, but this is unlikely. If you are able to deal two SP for a quality OF or a SP and an OF for a quality OF, you will be in better shape in my opinion.
