I would say end of may/beginning of june I would put him on the trade block. I think he has too small of a sample size right now as a starter to fetch anything good in a trade. But if he continues for a few months, people will bite. But I agree, I'm selling him eventually. He will absolutely be on an innings limit, as this is his first year as a professional starter. I don't expect him to be in the rotation come h2h playoff time.

I absolutely buy low on Wainwright if you can.
I think Wainwright's arm strength and sharpness with his pitches will improve as the season goes on. He's still just over 1 year away from TJ surgery and it usually takes a player 18 months before they are at full strength. I'm not buying him yet, I expect him to have a weak 1st half and strong 2nd half.

Isn't that the point of buying low?
Why buy low now when I can buy low later?

A guy with a notorious slow start with a career OPS of .902 but has a career OPS of .772 in the month of April. He starts of slow every year, and his an absolute stud in the months of May, June, July, August, and September.
I've been thinking about trying this. Too late now Maybe I'll go after Aramis now that Beltre is most likely done.
With each game Matt Holliday's and Justin Upton's stock gets lower and lower... I think you have to at least try and get these guys at a discounted price if you can. You'll want to reap the benefits when they do get hot.
Another buy low candidate for me is Kendrys Morales. He looks healthy and should heat up relatively soon. I believe in Morales and I'm trying to get him for dirt cheap before he starts playing like the Kendrys Morales we knew before he injured his leg.
Also, sell high on Austin Jackson, i think we are seeing him at his highest point. While I think he is serviceable I just dont think he is a star, but he is certainly playing like one right now.
I also say sell high on Derek Jeter right now, the 4 home runs already might be able to get an owner to overpay for him.
If you are selling high on a player, I would aim for the guys toward the bottom of the standings. Usually the guys at the bottom are frustrated owners just ACHING for players that will produce for them RIGHT NOW.

I just want to say that as a guy who has BOTH HOlliday and J Upton in his OF, I am feeling pretty crummy right now. I won't sell low, but I normally wouldn't sell at all (and I probably still won't sell Upton as it's a keeper) and right now I'm shopping Holliday.
Case in point, I bought Yovani Gallardo in my NL only league at a very low price... one day after his 3 2/3 IP, 6 ER performance. $9 lower than Matt Cain, $24 lower than Roy Halladay.
You would also have been wise to sell Brandon Belt high after starting 1 for 10... knowing who is piece of crap manager was and the fact that Aubrey Huff must have incriminating photos of said crap manager!
When it comes to exaggerating, I always give 110%.
