At what point does Sale become a sell high? I really liked him coming into the season but I think the buzz on him is going to start taking off and might go a little overboard.

I'm fine with selling him high but he was my #18 OF going into the season so I wouldn't sell him without a pretty good deal. The orioles also have a real lineup behind him this year so the R/RBI should be pretty decent.
I see more of a flat line when I look at plate discipline and power (a little growth but not much). He'll hit .280 (+/- 10pts), 20 HR's (+/- 5) and 10 (+/- 3) SB's. I will certainly take that on my team but if I can sell high then I definitely will.
That line has a ton of value, what has suppressed his value at this point is how anemic the lineup has been. If he were a perennial 90 R, 90 RBI guy he would go pretty darn high given the other stats. He displayed 25 HR power in 2009 but was hurt, took a small step back for no obvious reason in 2010 and displayed 25 HR power in 2011, no reason to expect much less in 2012 given his age. He falls into that category of guys who got hurt and don't get credit because of it. Same thing with Granderson when people that point to his 2010 season like it invalidates the power from 2009 and 2011, the truth is he missed 1/6th of the season in 2010 or he would have hit 30+ HR that year too.
Should I sell high on Ethier? I have an offer for him straight up for Shields. I don't need the pitching and I'd replace Ethier with Gerardo Parra from my bench But I'm thinking of accepting the trade then turning over a bigger SP like Gallardo for a OF like maybe Stanton or something.
Is this a good enough value to sell high is what I'm asking.

Pretty good deal in terms of value, but I wouldn't do it in your case. It weakens your team, and you can't assume you'll be able to pull of a deal to get another OF.
Every year it should go without saying... BUY LOW ON MARK TEIXEIRA!!
A guy with a notorious slow start with a career OPS of .902 but has a career OPS of .772 in the month of April. He starts of slow every year, and his an absolute stud in the months of May, June, July, August, and September.
