Time to drop Broxton?

Postby Surfs up » Wed Apr 11, 2012 10:35 pm

And pick up Holland? Or should I pick up David Robertson and hope the Yankees give Mo some days off. Plus Robertson gets lots of K's I do have Valverde and Motte.
I should get enough saves from Motte and Valverde to stay in the middle of the saves catagory.
Thoughts?

What kind of league are you in? Roto? H2H? What is your IP max? I may consider dropping Pomeranz.

I wouldn't be so hasty and if you are, Pomeranz and Porcello are better drops imo.

Porcello is a DL replacement for Pineda. he is just holding the spot for him. He pitched very well in his last start.
I would like to see what Pomeranz can do.
I almost traded Jackson in a deal to get Lester but gave up Jurjjens instead. Jackson will get more K's

I agree with this. I'm as high on Holland as anyone, and don't believe Broxton will last longer than a month, but he could still potentially turn it around. I have no faith in Pom or Porcello being mixed league relevant over a sustained period.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Still too early. He also struck 3 guys out in one inning the time before this. It was a bad outing which a lot of closers have had so far at least give him one more before you start panicking.
