in 12 team roto yahoo league standard 5 x 5
someone offered me rivera for my papelbon
i think its poor fantasy etiquette to offer sideways trade but i took a look
rivera has higher save ceiling with better ERA and WHIP with less Ks
papelbon has more Ks but higher ERA and whip
my first instinct is to accept as rivera is very steady but with papelbon in the NL with a great rotation might come up with 40 saves with better Ks and lower ERA and WHIP
as always WHIR

Rivera also has the age factor, but I'd still go Mariano.

My only issue with Pap is that lineup and how many save chances is he really going to get. I think its very close. So close that I could see you taking either side. Mo Rivera looked shaky early on.. but I think it would matter most about your other pitchers and what non-save categories you might need.

I'd stick with Papelbon. Sounds like the other manager's trying to offload Rivera in case this is the year he stops pitching like the ageless closer he is. The guy's incredible, but unless you're a NYY or Rivera fan and will take satisfaction out of seeing him on your team, I'd say hold steady with what you've got.

it amazes me that people actually have to ask this.
MO is not human! and is the best closer in the game today, i am a braves fan and MO is better then kimbrel right now!
take MO in a heartbeat.
