Drop Fowler/Cain for Belt?

Postby silverZ » Wed Apr 11, 2012 12:09 pm

I've heard a lot of hype around Belt the past couple years. I don't follow the NL close enough to have a strong opinion of him. Is he worth the waiver claim?

12 team mixed league, 7x7 scoring with OPS and BB.

C: Arencibia
1B: Mcab
2B: Johnson
3B: Zimmerman
SS: Yunel Escobar
CI: Arod
MI: Cozart
4 OF: McCutchen, Bruce, Gordon, Swisher
Util: Cain
Bench: Fowler
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Bump. Keep in mind Cain is day to day with a groin strain which scares me away from a speed first guy.

I would do it and drop Cain. I haven't been sold that Cain will be very helpful in fantasy.
