hello everyone, standard h2h 12 team league: pitching scoring cats- W,l,era, whip, k, saves
I received an offer of sorts for a closer (the guy lost Storen for a while) here is my rotation and he sounds willing to give up Hellickson or Beachy
Lincecum Haren Buccholz Dempster Garza Worley Papelbon Walden Brian Wilson Chapman
I'd feel like i am gettng a steal if i give up Wilson for either. Thoughts?? Is Papelbon too much, i don't think so? Which starter should I target first Beachy or Hellickson? thanks in advance
I wouldn't give up Papelbon- he's an elite closer for a good team and there's essentially no one behind him. Judging by the season so far, that's gold.
I'd give up Wilson or Walden in a heartbeat for either of those guys, but I prefer Beachy's K-rate.
Jeremy Hellickson was taken to a local hospital Wednesday after being hit in the head by a ball during batting practice. Hellickson was hit while he was throwing in the bullpen. While Rays manager Joe Maddon said that he was not bleeding and never lost consciousness, he was carted out of the stadium. Stay tuned for an update on his status.
concussion maybe?

I like Walden more than Wilson so that being said I agree with the above and say Wilson for Beachy ( I also believe that Wilson will end up on DL this season probably getting a Tommy John going)
Streamers Yesterday > NONE (used all of weeks moves shuffling batting) Today > NONE Tomorrow > Duane Below Vs KC *Worley (> My guy ) (* Wanted but taken)

hootie apparently values closers wayyyy more than I do.
Brandon beachy is a top 20 pitcher. So, I guess you have to look at your strategy and decide whether a closer is more valuable than at top 20 SP. I personally wouldn't think about drafting a closer until about 50 SPs are off the board, so the choice is obvious to me.
