Trade away DL-Micheal Morse for Pena???

I no longer need a RP, but it won't hurt me. Should I take this trade? Or counter offer just Micheal Morse(still on Disabled List) for Pena straight up?? I sent him a message about the trade without the pitchers and he is interested.


Would you guys take Pena knowing Morse is MOST likely going to off the DL this Thursday and play the rest of the season?

Also, I would be losing an OF as Morse is a (1B,OF) and Pena is just (1b).

Oof. Absolutely not. Hot starts, track record, and lasting value are what you need to consider here. Look beyond April.

Not a chance. Pena is always a hot/cold guy. He also has hit under .225 the last three years. Rodriguez isn't assured of anything and you are giving up two solid starters.

I like Pena more than most people.. I am ok with his Ks and low BA. But I wouldnt do this deal. Obviously there is no way he is going to continue this trend. And Morse is far and away the best player in this deal.
