Is the other manager a huge D-Backs fan? If he was stupid enough to make the offer then you should be happy to take advantage of his mistake.

I don't like it as much as the other deal, because I'm not as confident in Cozart, but if he really can pan out, then batting in front of Votto is really going to work out well. It's like Kendrick in front of Pujols. He's certainly going to get pitches to hit, it's just a matter of if he's going to hit them or not.

It's probably still worth it to grab Kershaw though. I would take the trade, but not as enthusiastically as the other other that saw you giving up Hamels but giving back Ethier.
