While both will have good years, I think Vazquez will have a better year...

Vazquez for sure. He's playing in front of a much better team, hitters have most likely never seen his stuff, and Santana is coming off of surgery and looked terrible in Spring Training.

The surgery was just to remove bone chips though, I don't think it will affect him that much this year.

He'll be great this year. Having said that, Vasquez will be nasty as well. Toss up, IMO. Vasquez is on the better team, but he'll have to face Boston, Tor and Balt. a bunch of times.

im betting on vaquez. he's already proven he can be a workhorse and pitch a full load for a SP. santana is amazing and will be very, very good. but ill take the more proven vazquez and the protection of the yankee lineup and bullpen
