I think I would try to maybe get someone a little better than Rodney. But otherwise its not a bad deal at all

I think it comes down to what you think you'll need more. I'm not sure Stanton is 100% healthy and Rodney should return to his old self at some point. I'd probably lean towards vetoing the trade, but if you want to really dominate pitching I'd make the deal and get Lee.

I'm gonna say absolutely NOT to this trade. Gio and Anibal are undervalued, and Stanton is off to a slow start and is a bit of a risk to begin with.


You are giving away a closer with great job security, you are giving away 2 quality arms, and you are giving away a top 10 player in all of fantasy baseball. Stanton is a little overrated right now in the fantasy baseball community, and while Cliff Lee is fantastic, he is the only sure thing you are getting in this deal.


I dont trust Stanton enough to pull the trigger on this deal, and you are giving away 4 very useful players, I dont think you have a good enough reason to do the deal.
