Is Andino worth a spot? WHIR

Postby joeyg2323 » Mon Apr 09, 2012 2:13 pm

I love the ability that he can play 2b,ss and 3b, as i have andrus and alvarez, alvarez doesnt play against lefties and andrus usually gets 1 day off a week.

i have alonso right now, who isnt doing anything and i already have a backup OF in cain. i also have carp and quentin coming off the DL who i consider both better then alonso.

some other guys to consider are
seager, aviles, descalso, sean rodriguez or wigginton.

any thoughts WHIR

I think it's too early to make a decision, especially if Andino is getting considered. I would wait out April and see where you are. None of those guys on the wire are critical pickups, though Aviles looks like he might do fine enough. I would rather wait and see on Alonso, but if you are adamant on dropping him then Aviles is probably the way to go until he putters out.

I also think it is too early to be considering Andino and I would much rather have Aviles than him. But, overall I would keep Alonso for awhile and see what he can do as he has the most upside.

thanks for your help with mine.
