Just wondering if I should add Samardzija after his strong outing the other day. 12 teams, roto, redraft league. If I should add him, who should I drop?? Thanks!!
My roster: C: Buster Posey 1B: Mike Napoli 2B: Robinson Cano 3B: Pablo Sandoval SS: Asdrubal Cabrera OF: Michael Bourn, Yeonis Cespedes, Martin Prado Utl: Kendrys Morales Bench: Ike Davis
SP: Justin Verlander, Cliff Lee, Matt Cain, Clay Buchholz, Jair Jurrjens, Jubaldo Jimenez, Drew Pomeranz, Trevor Bauer, Colby Lewis RP: Mariano Rivera, Chris Perez
We need a Samardzija containment thread today lol. Here is what i posted in someone elses thread concerning him. Hope it helps
I see him as a person to play in good matchups, Washington was about as good as it can get, he had done really well against them in the small sample he had seen them in the past and they have a pretty week offense. Last season they struck out more than any other team in all of baseball. His next start is against St. Louis and they have been crushing. I would watch closely if he can handle them he is definitely worth a strong consideration for a regular spot in people rotations. But other than that just pick him up next time he faces a struggling line up.
Streamers Yesterday > NONE (used all of weeks moves shuffling batting) Today > NONE Tomorrow > Duane Below Vs KC *Worley (> My guy ) (* Wanted but taken)
He is worth a pickup if you have someone to drop but I don't see anyone you have to drop for him. Ubaldo is the only guy and I wouldn't make that move yet.
