hey guys, I am in a 12 team head to head league my current pitching staff is - starsburg-beachy-billingsly- john niece, fister (DL) holland- melancon (getting dropped) sergio santos and street
I got rocked the first week - my offense is decent but my pitching is weak with the only solid pitcher on my staff being starsburg - I really like beachy this year but he did get rocked in the spring and vance was pretty good last year thoughts on this deal
i give up - Beachy I get - Vance Worley and Luebke
I personally rank luebke and beachy right next to each other. I think they are pretty equal. I would say try to get luebke without giving up beachy. But if that's not possible, I'd take the deal offered.
I like Beachy a bit more than Leubke but that might be in the minority. Like Lastings said if you can get Leubke to go beside Beachy instead of giving him up I would definitely do it. As it stands right now I would probably keep Beachy.
To me Worley is pretty much a non factor in this trade, he really is only worth starting in certain situations. That being said I like Beachy more than Luebke, but not by a whole lot. Both are very talented young pitchers, it sucks for luebke that he is on one of the best teams to pitch against in the division and won't see a ton of run support. Beachy gets better match ups more regularly and has more chances at W's. K rates, walk rates should be similar (and good for that matter).
Streamers Yesterday > NONE (used all of weeks moves shuffling batting) Today > NONE Tomorrow > Duane Below Vs KC *Worley (> My guy ) (* Wanted but taken)
Given that by the time the H2H Playoffs roll around, Strasburg may be skipping starts or shut down completely, and a small possibility of the same happening with Beachy, I'm actually leaning to the Luebke and Worley side of this. I think more highly of Worley than most, though, and think he's gonna have a pretty good season.
