Colby Rasmus or Delmon Young?

Postby cjd1167 » Mon Apr 09, 2012 10:11 am

I have a 1-for-1 trade offer where I would give Colby Rasmus for Delmon Young. Which player do you prefer for this season (I am in a keeper league, but with only 5 keepers, I doubt either will be kept for 2013)?

Also, I'm in a league with LF, CF, RF, and OF spots, and I currently have Prado, Granderson, Bruce, and Heyward. If I keep Rasmus (CF), he'll generally be on my bench, with Prado as my LF and Figgins (or some other waiver pickup) in my INF spot. If I get D Young, Prado moves to INF and Figgins moves to the bench.

Thanks!

personally i prefer the younger player in a hitters park - I think rasmus has more upside than young - and even tho he has not lived up to expectations I still think he has more upside.

I like Young much better hitting 5th in the powerhouse Detroit lineup. Take him.

Agreed. Rasmus worries me and he has shown no signs that he is going to figure things out this year. Young should put up pretty decent numbers in that offense.

Rasmus due to more upside in the power/speed areas.
