Yahoo waivers, can someone explain this?

From past experience once midnight hits, if someone else has put in a claim for him you won't be able to submit that claim any longer (this is a loophole that was fixed at the beginning of last years football I think). You can try doing it right at midnight and you might be able to hit that middle spot right after midnight and right before they lock anyone being able to claim players who have been claimed by another owner(s).

Let us know how it works out though if you don't mind. Would be good to know.

i had been up since 5am and in my old age ended up passing out sometime before midnight.
when I woke up Goldschmidt had been claimed by the # 4 waiver priority.

im kinda bummed I didnt get him, but he actually wouldnt have fit my roster very well since that league has only 1 UT spot and I have MCab and Hosmer and i wouldve had to cut my only bench bat (the positionally gifted Aviles).
But he still wouldve made a nice trade chip

This is exactly the experience I had. I used to exploit that football glitch.

If waivers processed this morning, you can rest assured knowing you wouldn't have gotten him. If it processed at midnight, then it was technically a week 1 transaction anyway.
