Pettitte or Clemens????

Who would you rather have for the 2004 season, Andy Pettitte or Roger Clemens??

Got to go with Pettitte; he's younger and will probably win more games than Rocket. I think both will have fine seasons but you have to temper your expectations about them. Many people are over rating this twosome.

I think I'd take Pettitte SLIGHTLY over Clemens. They're both injury risks, going from a moderate pitcher's park (especially for Pettitte, a lefty and a groundball pitcher) to a definite hitter's park. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Clemens pulls a groin or hammy running to first, and I don't trust Pettitte's elbow. But, I do think they'd both be solid #3 starters, for the most part.

Clemens. And it's not even close. Petitte is going to be the Glavine of this year.

Clemens because of his strikeouts. Think they'll both suffer a bit pitching in Houston, but will be decent.
