So I decided to alter my strategy a bit in my money league this year. When you see my team, you'll know precisely what my focus was. Anyways, I'm hoping to get some opinions on how you think this team will fare and an overall rating. This is my 8th year playing fantasy baseball and the first time I've focused so heavily on one side. If you post a link along with your reply, I'll gladly offer my opinion on your squad as well.

As you can see, I went all in on pitching. I've never tried this approach, but I think if nothing else, teams who lose or have a weak group of pitchers will ultimately overpay for someone and I can ultimately boost another position with a pitcher I don't even need.

I am also currently offering Jeff Niemann for Justin Morneau and the owner told me he's going to take a day or two to think it over.

judging by your point break down, it looks like pitching is heavily favored in your league... so you did the right thing. I may think about adding another closer maybe? First thing i'd do is get rid of Burnett, burning hatred for that man. You're missing some pop in your team but its fast and should net you a good amount of R and SB.

IMO i'd get another closer, add some power.

I love CBS leagues... i havent joined one yet, but still might.

Great team for this kind of league, solid pitching all around. I also like the potential of your offense, it should be good enough for the season. 8.5/10.

Just keep in mind, with the weekly line-up changes, you might not need as many pitchers as you have. But as you mentioned, you have trade fodder.
