Giving Cuddyer to get Jeter? WHIR

16 Team H2H Points DYNASTY League in first year

I've been shopping for a SS and have had trades turned down for just about every SS in the league.
Then, I got offered Jeter for Cuddyer. Should I take it?
In a redraft, I'd do it since I think Jeter has at least one decent year left as the Yanks leadoff hitter, but this is a Dynasty league.
What do you think?

-3 points for every 2 Times Caught Stealing (-1.5 per) C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF, CF, RF, DH
1 point for every Total Base C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF, CF, RF, DH
1 point for every Walk C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF, CF, RF, DH
-3 points for every 4 Strikeouts (-0.75 per) C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF, CF, RF, DH

I am ok with that. I think Cuddyer should have more value than Jeter but if you aren't getting any other deals done than I would be ok with this.

im good with that as well. your need for SS if more then a need for cuddyer right now. jeter will have a fine year i think as well

I would actually NOT do it. Cuddyer is up for a great year IMO.

Neither is a "dynasty" type player IMO so I'd say it's a solid move to bolster SS.

It's OK, esp. in a 16 team league. Cuddyer probably has more long term value, but if you are really hurting at SS, then it is not like you are paying a huge premium to correct the problem.

Sent out one last attempt at getting a different SS before I just accept the Jeter deal.

Offered Cuddyer and my 1st round pick in 2013(remember, we draft prospects in our dynasty draft) for Cozart. He needs a 2B and has 2 other SS on roster, so I have a chance.

No sense to panic yet. I'm sure with the right deal, you could land a SS.
I think Cuddyer could go 20/80.
