Altuve for Pomeranz

Postby badmutha27 » Thu Apr 05, 2012 11:22 am

I have a contending team in a 6x6 H2H league. Traditional stats QS instead of W along with OPS for hitters. I was offered Drew Pomeranz for Altuve. My pitching staff is already pretty deep, but i like Pomeranz a lot. I also like Altuve's potential. Altuve is on my bench as i already have Kendrick, but Altuve is a strong bench 2b. I'm not a big fan of carrying too many bench hitters as they end up being useless. Should i accept this offer?

i would take it but I am also not sold on Altuve. Houston doesn't have a lot around him so his value is going to be limited in the runs and RBI department.

Take it. Kendrick is more than solid, and carrying Altuve just to cover injuries doesn't hold as much value as a sp. (And I'm a fan of Altuve, too.)

It's not a no-brainer, but I would take it.

Plus i have Allen Craig, so once he returns he can cover 2b. I think Craig has better potential than Altuve.
